Press in Saugas, MA, are reporting that
a criminal complaint was filed
against Randy Orton on Tuesday night for simple assault and battery.
A 15-year-old
autograph boy alleges that Orton assaulted him in the
parking lot of Kowloon restaurant outside of Boston, which is
a regular
haunt of WWE stars when they are in town.
The boy told police that Orton spat gum in his face
and used profanity.
When the boy's mother interjected Orton allegedly told her, "so sue me."
Lt. Leonard Campanello of the Saugas Police Dept. told
www.wickedlocal.com/saugus that another juvenile male also in the
parking lot at the time of the altercation reported witnessing the
exchange between Orton and the 15-year-old.
A clerk magistrate will determine today if the incident warrants
a
criminal complain.
January 13, 2010 A complaint has been filed against Randy Orton, stemming from an altercation
with a fan in Saugas, Mass., this weekend. A 15-year-old told police that Orton spit gum in his face and called him a profane
word. The minor said that Orton reacted after the minor took a photo of Orton at a local restaurant. The child, his mother
and third witness alleged the altercation. No charges have been pressed and a clerk magistrate will determine if charges will
be pressed.
Trivia :
A stint in the Marines left Orton, briefly, in trouble with the U.S. military for going AWOL. But at the age of 19,
Orton was signed to a WWE contract in 2000.

Orton had begun bragging that he was the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion in seven years, having held the
title for seven months, defeating everyone from Rob Van Dam to Shelton Benjamin to Chris Jericho. However, he could not overcome
the challenge of Edge at July's Vengeance pay-per-view and Orton's title reign came to an end.
At a Last Man Standing bout at One Night Stand. that lasted about 12 minutes...
Orton sustained a broken collarbone.
He was also in a motorcycle accident
a month later that sidelined him even longer.

According to a recent article in the Clanton
Advertiser newspaper out of Clanton, Alabama, Randy Orton will in fact be moved to SmackDown permanently. The reason behind
the move is apparently to help improve the ratings on Smackdown, and to get Orton away from the RAW Divas.
