Hunter competed at SummerSlam in spite of an injury.
....two torn groin area muscles...a torn adductor muscle and a torn lower abdominal wall since last July...that happened
in an un-televised match against Goldberg.
At SummerSlam, to a crowd attendance of over 16,000. He performed, but, not at his best. He wore padded long black
tights, instead of his ususal ring gear, to cover up the muscle loss to his legs due to lack of leg training, and undeneath
was a groin support...Hunter felt he got through the match not causing further injury. He claims he was walking like Ozzy
Osbourne for a few days....He his now going through extensive heavy duty therapy.
The physical set back does not need surgery.."it's a time thing." he says.
