Canada's Slam Sports reports that the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are offering former pro wrestler Brock Lesnar a different road
to the NFL. Two CFL sources requesting anonymity claim the Blue Bombers have placed the six-foot-three, 295-pound Lesnar on
their negotiation list. The former World Wresting Entertainment star was released Monday by the Minnesota Vikings after failing

ULTIMO RETURN: Ultimo Dragon will be returning to WWE later this year, though he will be wrestling without a mask and
working under the name Asai.
Dragon requested a leave of absence from WWE to return to Japan to work with Toryumon, the wrestling promotion he founded
that focuses on a more spectacular high-flying style.
Dragon is expected to debut as the Asai character around Survivor Series in November, 2004
Shawn Michaels will also make a comeback Aug. 15 in Toronto, returning to action for retribution against Kane.
Doctors cleared Kurt Angle to return to the ring last week, after several months on the shelf because of yet another injury
to his surgically repaired neck.
Summerslam 2004, will be the biggest WWE event in Canada since Wrestlemania X-8 at SkyDome in 2002.
Starting this fall, Raw and Smackdown TV shows will be moved overseas for four episodes. The first taping is in October 2004
Australia, western Europe and Japan. The first foreign tapings will take place in Manchester, England

April 19, 2004 - New World Tag Team Champions!
For Chris Benoit, it was yet another magical moment during what was the homecoming of a lifetime. For Edge, it was the
culmination of 14 months of tenacious struggle to get back into the ring on Monday Night RAW after neck surgery. For RAW's
newest tag team, it was living proof that hard work can overcome even the greatest odds, as Benoit & Edge captured the
World Tag Team Championship in front of their native Canadian fans by defeating Ric Flair & Batista.
Despite competing less than 24 hours after both men endured grueling matches at Backlash, and only moments after suffering
an assault at the hands of Evolution, Benoit & Edge won the match when Edge hit Batista with a Spear and scored the pinfall.
Now, Chris Benoit enjoys the rare distinction of holding two Championships at the same time as he leaves Calgary -- the very
place he trained to become a professional wrestler -- as the World Heavyweight Champion and one half of the World Tag Team
Champions.

EDGE: After an absence of more than a year due to neck surgery, Edge made a triumphant return as a RAW Superstar. He also
showed that he means business, as his first action was to Spear Eric Bischoff!
EDGE: will have to make his first match in more than a year one of his best. On RAW, Edge thought he had gotten the best
of Kane, only to learn that he will need something more. After Kane defeated Rhyno, Edge came to the ring and attacked Kane
with a Spear. Only seconds later, Kane rose up from the Spear and went on the offensive. Only by using the cast on his recently
broken arm as a weapon was Edge able to fend off Kane.
FAROOQ: Sources are telling 1Wrestling.com that R0N SIMMONS (APA) was released this week as a result of what WWE management
considered inappropriate behavior over the weekend at Wrestlemania festivities.
Benoit's dream came true...He had a Triple Threat Match with Triple H and Shawn Michaels....He made HHH tap out with his signature
finishing move the crippling cross-face...He is now World Champion for his first time. Triple H has held the title for over
1 year.

today. Zach is only 20 years of age and I would be very surprised if we don't see him in a WWE ring again some day,"

HARDCORE HOLLY beat the BIG SHOW in a street fight on SmackDown January 8, 2004 Big Show tapped out when Holly wrapped a
steel chair around his neck using it as a neck vise.
BIG SHOW went to Iraq for the Christmas Show of SmackDown to entertain the troops...there was no army cot for his 500 lb
size...a make-shift one had to be rigged so he could get some sleep.
BIG SHOW dressed as a rapper to mock John Cena...they had a rap match....CENA won
