Undoubtedly, Cactus Jack is a hardcore legend. On this night, however, not only did Randy Orton defeat the legend, he
may have even solidified himself as one.
Chris Jericho was finally able to gain a measure of revenge at Backlash when he defeated both Trish Stratus and Christian.
After a lengthy absence from the ring, Edge showed no ring rust as he defeated Kane via pinfall.
Shelton Benjamin is on the biggest roll of his career. At Backlash he defeated the great Ric Flair after a top rope clothesline.
Women's Championship
Victoria retained the Women's Championship at Backlash by defeating Lita.
Jonathan Coachman actually defeated the skilled Tajiri. However, the win did come with controversy, as Garrison Cade interfered
on Coachman's behalf.
The Hurricane & Rosey defeated La Resistance in a tag team match
Vince McMahon thanks the fans
On Sunday night at Madison Square Garden, Vince McMahon thanked the fans for making WrestleMania the phenomenon it is
today. Below is the complete transcript of what Mr. McMahon had to say.
The theme of this year's WrestleMania is where it all begins again. But, quite frankly, without each and every one of
you, WrestleMania may very well have never began. I've come before you tonight to simply say thank you.
On behalf of the WWE Superstar both past and present we thank you.
On behalf of the entire WWE organization, we say thank you.
On behalf of the McMahon family, thank you.
Thank you for making WrestleMania what it has become today. Thank you for making the WWE what it is. And thank you for
making this WrestleMania where it all begins again.
Thank you very much!
MOLLY HOLLY: Is not ready to lose her beautiful dark mane at WrestleMania. The Diva realizes exactly how important her upcoming
hair vs. title match is, and she is taking the necessary steps to ensure she leaves Madison Square Garden with a full head
of hair and the Women's Championship.

JAMIE NOBLE: found out rather quickly, that wrestling Nidia blindfolded was not the easiest thing to do.
The hood not only left him disoriented and struggling to breathe, it also left him open to Nidia's shenanigans. Midway
through their match at NO WAY OUT 2004 , Nidia decided to have some fun at Noble's expense and pulled his pants down from
behind...but, Noble was saved on having an embarrassing moment....he was wearing boxers.
Tickets went on sale Friday morning for the TOUR OF DEFIANCE on Wednesday, May 26 at the Point Theatre in Dublin, Ireland
