May 10, 2010 Small riot occurred at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in India Sunday when The Great Khali did not to make an appearance. Local security had their hands
full.....The wrestling ring and numerous seats were destroyed. Khali
reportedly pulled out of the event 10 days before, but the promoters of the show still promoted
his appearance. Khali had returned his pay for the event.
November 22, 2009 The Great Khali was given a five year leave of absence from the Punjabi Police
force so he could wrestle and act. The five years are up next month, and the force has suspended The Great Khali for "unauthorized
leave." ______________
Early career
Under the
ring name "Giant Singh", Dalip Singh became a pro wrestler for All Pro Wrestling in the United States of America,
making his first appearance in October 2000, when teaming with Tony Jones against the West Side Playaz 2000.

He got his first shot in a Special Event of WWE, The Judgment Day, by this time The Great Khali had got a
lot of heat from the supporters of The Undertaker and the match was much awaited for.
Judgment Day got a nice response this time from the WWE Fans, the audience turnout was
nearly 16,000, about 6,000 people more from the last Judgment day in 2005.
He landed his Brainchops, Headbutts, Clotheslines, Double Handed Chokeslams on the Undertaker
on the Undertaker at this event.
He then finished
the match with his finishing move "The Big Boot" which he put to Undertaker's Chest.
He then proceeded to pin The Undertaker.
The match ran for 8 Minutes and 31 seconds.
