Marty...was eliminated on the last Tough Enough Tv show...remember him? He wanted to be a wrestler no matter what?...well
now, playing the character, Boogeyman...is his big break with WWE

SmackDown!
On the July 11 episode of RAW, the first of a few horror vignettes, promoted the debut of Wright in his "Boogeyman"
character. These vignettes first aired on RAW, then on SmackDown! for several weeks. His debut was delayed when he hyperextended

In October 2004, 40-year-old Marty Wright attempted to become part of Tough Enough IV. He attended the two-day preliminaries
that took place in Venice Beach, California, which was attended by 50 competitors. During the second day of the event, he
revealed that he was, in fact, ten years older that he was portraying himself to be and was quickly disqualified. A month
later he was signedto a 3 year contract on at WWE. sent to Ohio for training.
OVW turned his lying about his age for Tough Enough into a gimmick, claiming he had a history of psychological problems
and had been in prison for bodily assault.
He dubbed himself the Boogeyman

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Wright's teeth were knocked out during a training match in 2005. (This is
largely disputed however).
The worms he eats are real, as seen in the episode of Smackdown! on December 16th 2005.
The term "Bottomless Pit" came from the Barringer meteor crater in Winslow, Arizona.
