Batista has admitted in his new biography that he is dating Melina and that was that cause of his divorce from his wife.
She claimed they were sleeping together while they were still married, but he says that that isn't true. After they split,
Batista and Melina started to date each other.

Dave Batista has released an official statement concerning his connection to the Signature Pharmacy client list:
To my fans and friends:
I categorically deny a report on ESPN.com, and repeated by other media outlets, that I am or ever have been a customer
of Signature Pharmacy of Orlando, an on-line pharmacy company that is a target of an investigation by the Albany,
New York District Attorney's Office.
I am being tested regularly by the WWE, and I am in full compliance with the WWE Wellness Program.
I regret the inaccurate reporting, and I will do all I can in the future to stop any publication or anyone from making
such false accusations.

Batista had to forfeit his belt because he would be out for shoulder surgery for close to a year. He said a sad goodbye in
2005 to his fans promising to return and re-gain the title belt once more.
He never really lost it to any one.

injury.
