40 year old World champion Kurt Angle was arrested on Saturday in Pittsburgh for apparently stalking his girlfriend, Trenesh Biggers, better known as Rhaka Khan. He was released on bond.

TNA, Kurt Angle's injuries are very real and they are "waiting on a long term diagnosis". TNA knew Angle was hurting but as late as Saturday hoped that he would be able do the one match and then take time off.
Sunday afternoon it was clear to them that he couldn't safely do it.

Kurt Angle was hurt this past Monday in Seoul, South Korea after a botched bodyslam. He was dropped on his head and neck. He is taken off TNA house shows but is expected to wrestle at TNA Sacrifice tomorrow.

Kurt Angle's attorney Mike Santicola told Pittsburgh's WTAE-TV that he does not believe there's a basis for the DUI charges brought against the TNA champion last Friday. Santicola stated the police have "no firsthand knowledge of him operating a vehicle and they don't have any evidence of him operating a vehicle while intoxicated."

Kurt Angle's attorney Mike Santicola said Angle refused the blood test on the advice of his agent, whom the wrestler called while police were at the house.

Santicola also denied that Angle failed the field sobriety test and said his client may be targeted because he is a celebrity.

Angle is just grateful to be back in the ring. A string of recurring injuries forced him into a non-wrestling role as the general manager of Smackdown earlier this year. It was a gimmick he absolutely hated.
He has since moved into a program with the Big Show but Angle admits his storyline hopes lie elsewhere.
